• Dapping punches are used to form metal into a dome shape
• Any bendable metal can be used
• Common uses are for coins, sheet metals, bottle caps, and more
• The dapping punch is used in conjunction with a dapping or bench block, which is sold separately
• Simply put the item to be formed into the appropriately sized dapping indent. Tap on the dapping punch with a hammer until you have the shape you desire
• Note: it can be helpful to perform other operations, such as hole drilling, cutting, or engraving prior to dapping
• Sizes range from about 11/64 inch to about 35/64 inch, but could vary
