• Dapping punches are used to form metal into a dome shape
• Any bendable metal can be used
• Common uses are for coins, sheet metals, bottle caps, and more
• The dapping punch is used in conjunction with a dapping or bench block; sold separately
• Simply put the item to be formed into the appropriately sized dapping indent. Tap on the dapping punch with a hammer until you have the shape you desire
• Note: it can be helpful to perform other operations, such as hole drilling, cutting, or engraving prior to dapping
• Sizes range from about 3/32 inch to about 7/16 inch, but could vary
• Punch Sizes: 2.3, 3.5, 4.3, 5.1, 5.9, 6.7, 7.5, 8.3, 9.1, 9.9, 10.7 & 13mm
